目前，从国际上(主要指西医)治疗白血病的情况来看，主要采取化疗的方法。而用纯中药来医治白血病的疗法，这在国际上实为风毛麟角，寥若星晨，堪为首创。将中药疗法和西医化疗法相比较，中医治疗方法具有以下几个突出的特点和优点：
